In May of 2007, the Academy Board of Directors approved a three-year strategic plan. During this three-year report period, the Academy underwent charter reauthorization and was awarded a five-year Charter Contract by Central Michigan University for its continuing progress. The following annual report details a year in review in all areas of the Academy for the 2008/2009 school year. West Michigan Academy Board Members are currently developing a strategic plan for the 2010/2011 school year that demonstrates its continued commitment to environmental science and academic success.
