I love WMAES. This school is tremendous and I couldn't imagine sending my son anywhere else. Jennifer Dietrich |

Summer Garden Club Green Thumb Club offers families and students the opportunity to learn the basics of gardening and the importance of small farms and usually is followed by a fresh healthy treat form the garden. Survivor Camp at WMAES with overnight Survivor Camp will test students’ ability to survive in the wilderness at WMAES. Campers will learn about edible and medicinal plants, make fire out of natural materials and spend the night in a shelter they made. Macro Invertebrate Mania Students will spend Tuesday learning about the many different macro invertebrates that inhabit the property at WMAES. Students will use several techniques to catch and identify “bugs” and determine the health of many different ecosystems at WMAES. Wednesday, students will use information from the previous day to evaluate the health of the Rogue River using a technique called Rapid Bio-Assessment (RBA). Where the Wild Things Are This camp is all about things WILD and designed for the active child! Campers will learn all about wild things at school – mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds and the plants. We will play lots of games, sing wild songs, and see if we could survive like the wild things in nature. Great Garden Adventures Campers will learn the basics of organic gardening and start each day with a little garden work and fun with the chickens. They will help harvest and prepare fruits and vegetables for eating, create and try new recipes and have fun while getting dirty. We will also focus on all the animals that live in and around the gardens – we will learn about mammals, reptiles, amphibians and insects, and see how many of each we can find. Vegetables and fresh eggs will be available to take home each day and campers will leave with their own seeds to plant. Hey WMAES Parents & Students! Check out these great incentives!
