FREE Nature’s Way Preschool Camps

July 13- Fantastic Froggies
Preschoolers will learn about frog life cycles, hear a story, play a game and search for frogs in the forest and by the pond.

July 14- Terrific Trees
The trees will come alive in this program as preschoolers listen and take part in the Lorax in the forest. Play a tree game and taste some tree tea!

July 15- Nests, Holes and Habitats
Search for homes of animals in the forest and prairie and learn about the creatures who call those habitats home.

July 16- Lions and Tigers and Bears OH MY!
Do lions and tigers live in MI? How about bears? We’ll discover what makes a mammal a mammal and even get to feel some furs and play some games.

July 20- Garden Detectives
Young nature enthusiasts will be immersed in the gardens and there are lots of mysteries to solve with magnifying glasses. Worms, toads, frogs, praying mantis and many other bugs will catch their eyes!

July 21- Rockin’ Reptiles
Discover the secrets of these ancient creatures and meet our favorite turtle, Zeeq!

July 22- The Fabulous Five
Take a walk on the wild side and learn about the five senses in nature! Your young one will taste, touch, hear, see, and smell the wonders of nature!

July 27- Tweets and Beaks
Does your youngster love birds? This program will introduce them to the local birds.  We will play some games, learn some bird calls and search for them with some binoculars we make.

July 28- Buggin’Out
What little one doesn’t love bugs? We will learn a bug song and then go out into the field and use bug nets to catch all the six-legged creatures we can find!

July 29- Wild Flower Power
Let’s take a hike through the prairie and discover all the beautiful native flowers at WMAES.  Preschoolers will learn to identify a few flowers. Parents, if you’re interested you can dig up a few flowers and add them to your gardens at home.

July 30- Camouflage Critters
Learn the secrets of animal survival – CAMOUFLAGE! Wear camo that day and see if you can survive like the animals by playing a game and searching for hidden creatures.
